VinBus’s Nha Trang route map lists two routes. Route 16-2 runs Cam Ranh Airport to Vinpearl Nha Trang, 05:50 to 23:00, at 50,000 VND. Route 23 runs Ana Marina Cruise Port to Vinpearl Nha Trang, 06:20 to 23:00, at 15,000 VND.

VinBus’s launch notice for 16-2 gives narrower hours: airport departures 07:00 to 21:15 and Vinpearl departures 08:30 to 23:00, a bus every 45 minutes. The fare matches, so check the VinBus app for the hours.

VinWonders describes route 23 differently, as Do Theatre, 2/4 Square, Imperial Hotel and Vinpearl Nha Trang. The two sources differ on the terminus, so check the stop name in the VinBus app.

VinWonders says VinBus is free for guests with a VinWonders, Vinpearl Harbour, Aquafield Nha Trang or Hon Tam mud bath ticket, or a Vinpearl Nha Trang hotel booking. The VinBus hotline is 1900 866 663.

Renting and riding a motorbike has its own licence rules. They are covered in the motorbike rental guide and the driving licence guide.

Operating a motor vehicle in road traffic without the required driving licence is a prohibited act. A holder of an international driving permit from a Vienna Convention country must carry both the permit and a matching national licence.

A bike up to 125 cm3 ridden without a licence draws a fine of 2,000,000 to 4,000,000 VND. Above 125 cm3 the fine is 6,000,000 to 8,000,000 VND.

One Nha Trang shop, True Friends Easy Rider, lists a 50cc automatic from 150,000 VND a day. Its Yamaha Grande 125cc is from 130,000 VND and its Honda PCX 150cc from 250,000 VND. A new NVX 155cc is listed from 250,000 VND.

Like Bike says its rental contract needs the details of a foreign passport and an insurance deposit, returned at hand-back.

Rental checks tightened in 2026

On 8 May 2026 the Nha Trang Ward People’s Committee told agencies and businesses to strengthen oversight of motorbike rental. Rental businesses face strict penalties for giving a bike to a tourist without a valid licence or legal driving eligibility.

Tuoi Tre News reported on 1 August that hundreds of foreigners were fined for not meeting the requirements to rent and ride. Khanh Hoa traffic police identified nine businesses renting to foreigners, mainly in Nha Trang Ward. Rental signs have dropped significantly compared with about three months earlier.

A shop owner on Hung Vuong Street said shops now check each customer’s licence. Some shops stopped because very few foreign customers qualify. Expect a licence check at the counter, and use taxis or an app if you hold no valid licence. The guide to riding without a licence has the fines.

If something goes wrong

In an emergency, call 113 for the police and 115 for a medical emergency. See Nha Trang emergency numbers.

The Khanh Hoa People’s Committee issued a coordination regulation to support tourists in the province, effective 2/12/2025. It covers handling reports on touting, cheating, price-raising, price-forcing and fraud.
