On 2 September 2025 the new exhibit “Dai Duong Ky Bi” (Mysterious Ocean) opened to visitors. The exhibit is laid out by ocean depth, from the sea surface down to 6000 m. Visitors can picture the differences in light and pressure at each water layer, and how marine creatures adapt to them.

8. Tran Phu beach — swimming and jellyfish

The Khanh Hoa digital tourism platform advises swimming in planned public areas that have professional lifeguards and jellyfish warning signs. It says the lifeguard huts along Tran Phu beach usually carry vinegar. The Nha Trang Bay Management Board’s organisation includes a rescue unit.

If a child is stung, the platform says to leave the water at once and move onto dry sand. It says to rinse the sting continuously with clean seawater from the same area. It says never to use fresh water or ice in the early stage.

Vinegar goes on the skin for about 30 seconds. Watch the reaction for 30 to 60 minutes after the touch. Go to the nearest hospital or health station for spreading pain, fever, headache, nausea, chest tightness, breathing difficulty or dizziness.
