Opening hours
Three operator pages give three sets of hours. The home page says 7.00 to 16:30. The ticket page says 08:00 to 16:30. The 2024 price list says 08:00 to 16:00.
A May 2026 guide also gives 08:00 to 16:30. Ask at the gate which applies, and plan to be on the stream well before 16:00.
What the ticket includes
The ticket page lists these items:
- One bottle of mineral water.
- The swimming pool and the water sports games.
- The Skywalk and the adventure swing.
- A 50% discount on a coaster game ticket.
The 2024 price list names SUP boards and kayaks among the free water sports, and a lake-climbing visit. The May 2026 guide adds travel insurance, and says lockers and the buggy service cost extra.
Adventure games
The games price list charges VND 200,000 for the Skywalk and VND 300,000 for the roller coaster zipline. The ticket page says the Skywalk is free with the entrance ticket. The May 2026 guide says both games are included in the ticket price. The operator’s own pages differ, so ask which applies on the day.
Both games are closed to children under 1,3M. The games list sets a weight range of 35kg-90kg and ages 10 - 55. It gives 50% off the next ride. Khanh Hoa residents who show an ID card get 20% off per ticket.
Staying overnight
The portal lists bungalow lodging, restaurants with local dishes, a swimming pool and water games on site. A promotion page advertises a bungalow combo for 2-4 guests from VND 1,750,000. The page carries no date.
What to see at Ba Ho Waterfalls
The stream rises on the peak of Hon Son, 660m high. A Vinpearl guide gives its length as 10km. It runs through evergreen primary forest and forms cascades and three large lakes at different heights.
The May 2026 guide describes three freshwater pools among large granite boulders and dense jungle. It says the pools are calm and clear with a blue-green tint in the dry season. After rain the cascades gain force and the water turns murkier.
From the gate to the stream
The portal says the worn path along the stream is the only route, shaded by old trees. The May 2026 guide says a paved path leads through the resort area for roughly a kilometer before the stream. It gives the walk from the entrance to lake 1 as about 1.4km, or 15 to 20 minutes at a comfortable pace.

Past the pavement, painted arrows on rocks mark the route and the path becomes boulder scrambling. The guide says a few ropes and arrows mark the way, with no railings or barriers.
The three pools
The operator’s about page puts the steep stream bank between lake 1 and lake 2 at nearly 1km, and the stretch from lake 2 to lake 3 at over 300m. The same page also says about 5 minutes between each lake. Treat both as rough.

Lake 1
The operator calls lake 1 the easiest to reach, because it sits at the lowest height. Its falls look best in the rainy season, and carry less water in the dry season. The May 2026 guide describes the pool as wide, reasonably deep in places and flanked by flat rocks for resting.
A Vinpearl guide recommends lake 1 for camping and picnics. The operator and the Vinpearl guide both place a cliff jump at lake 1.
Rocks in and around the water are slippery, and some are submerged and hard to see. Small freshwater fish in the pools nibble on skin.
Lake 2
The way to lake 2 is fairly hard going. The operator says lake 2 sits under a large tree with places to rest, swim and eat. It adds that water is low and cloudier in the dry season. Families and groups with older people and children are usually not keen on the effort to reach it.
The May 2026 guide puts lake 2 around 300m beyond lake 1, under a dense tree canopy. It says some sections have a rope to help the climb and some passages are narrow. The guide calls it unsuitable for young children. It places the cliff-jump ledges at lake 2, which differs from the operator.
Lake 3
A Vinpearl guide says lake 3 has small caves and white water falling from above. It says the way there is fairly tiring.
The May 2026 guide describes the 300m stretch from lake 2 as steep, slippery rock faces with at least one near-vertical descent on a single rope. It says anyone not comfortable on exposed rock should stop at lake 2. It mentions “do not go further” signs beyond the official lake 3 marker.
The operator says you can return from lake 3 the same way or by the forest path on the far side of the stream. That path is marked with red arrows and is fairly difficult. The Vinpearl guide says the forest route is dangerous and the same way back is safest. Go back the way you came.
If you do not want to climb
The operator says you can stay at lake 1 or the lower reaches of the stream. The Vinpearl guide gives the same advice. The lower river has the kayaks and the water games.
The stream trek
The operator describes a 1.5km trail that starts by walking up the stream bed and passes steep rock faces. It calls the walk forest bathing, a Japanese practice called shinrin-yoku. It recommends choosing a large, dry rock with good grip to rest on.
To book the trekking tour, the operator asks visitors to message its Facebook fan page or website.

Water games, food and rest areas
The May 2026 guide says kayaking, SUP boards and the inflatable water park on the lower river are included in the ticket. The operator says fishing is allowed and an area is set aside for kayaking.
The guide lists a riverside restaurant, fast food stands and coffee shops in the park. The operator names the Ba Ho and Cay Son restaurants.

Safety on the stream
The operator warns that thunderstorms at the head of the stream can bring sudden flood water, with no way out for visitors. It says the rocks are very slippery. It advises coming in the season before the fourth lunar month.
The May 2026 guide says the water level rises after heavy rain, currents strengthen and rocks become much more slippery. It says swimming then carries real risk.
Who it suits (and who should skip it)
- Hikers in sturdy shoes: the stream path is the only route, and the way to lakes 2 and 3 is hard going.
- Groups of friends: the operator lists kayaks, SUP and a pool free with the ticket.
- Families with young children: children under 1m are free on the price list, but the Skywalk and zipline are closed to children under 1,3M.
- Camping and picnic groups: lake 1 is recommended for both.
- Skip it if you cannot manage rocks and a rough dirt road: the operator calls the road potholed and the rocks very slippery.
- Skip lakes 2 and 3 with young children: the May 2026 guide calls lake 2 unsuitable for them.
- Skip it during or after storms: the operator warns of sudden flood water with no way out.

How to get to Ba Ho Waterfalls
The portal says Ba Ho is 25 km north of Nha Trang, in Van Thuan hamlet. Under the 2025 merger the old Ninh Ich commune is part of Nam Ninh Hoa commune. The operator gives its address as Van Thuan hamlet, Nam Ninh Hoa commune. Open in Google Maps (opens in a new tab).
Thon Van Thuan, Nam Ninh Hoa, Khanh Hoa · Open in Google Maps (opens in a new tab)
A Vinpearl guide gives the drive from central Nha Trang as 30 to 40 minutes. The May 2026 guide says 30 to 45 minutes. The operator’s about page puts the round trip at about 60km.
The route
- Leave central Nha Trang by the 2/4 road or Pham Van Dong, towards National Highway 1A and Ninh Hoa.
- Pass Long Phu tourist port. About 10 to 15 minutes later a signpost points to Ba Ho.
- Cross the road at the sign and follow the village road to the end of the concrete, then turn left at the three-way junction.
- The operator says the dirt road after that is rough with potholes, easier in the dry season, and suggests a taxi.
The May 2026 guide calls the Pham Van Dong route the most scenic, with views over Ninh Van Bay before it joins National Highway 1A. It says the final stretch is a bumpy dirt road to a parking area, and parking is free.
Taxi, Grab or bus
The May 2026 guide says a Grab car from central Nha Trang takes around 30 to 40 minutes. It says a return Grab from the site can be harder, so arrange a wait or a pickup time.
The same guide says local bus lines 3 and 4 stop near the Ba Ho turnoff, leaving around 3.5km to walk to the entrance. It is a third-party claim, so confirm the stop before relying on it. For taxis and rides in town, see getting around Nha Trang.
The operator lists a hotline of 0866225766.
When to go and how long
The operator suggests going from the morning until about 2 or 3 pm, because later rain may arrive. The May 2026 guide says arriving early gives better light and thinner crowds.
The dry season carries less water over the falls. The rainy season shows them at their best, but the operator warns of sudden flood water. A Vinpearl guide advises the dry season for safety. For how the season runs, read Nha Trang storm and flood season.
The May 2026 guide says a half day is enough, with at least about three hours if you plan to reach lake 2 or 3. The operator says reaching all three lakes is a journey of more than 3km that is not simple. A Vinpearl guide says the area suits a day trip because it is far from other Nha Trang sights.
Nearby and how to combine it
The operator says Ba Ho sits beside other attractions such as Dai Lanh, Doc Let and Ninh Thuy. Doc Let Beach has its own guide.
A Vinpearl guide puts VinWonders Nha Trang about 30 minutes by vehicle from Ba Ho. See VinWonders Nha Trang tickets and hours.
On the way, the May 2026 guide notes that Ninh Van Bay is visible from the coastal road. For a half-day plan, go to Ba Ho in the morning, when the operator suggests arriving. Finish at Doc Let Beach in the afternoon.

Before you go
- Wear anti-slip sports shoes, or canvas or rubber shoes. The May 2026 guide calls closed shoes with grip essential.
- Bring swimwear, a hat, sunscreen and insect spray.
- Pack a small dry bag to protect your phone on the rocky trail.
- Take your rubbish away after a picnic or camp.
- Outside food and drink are free of surcharge in most of the park, but not in the Ba Ho and Cay Son restaurants.
