Three providers sell home fibre in Nha Trang: Viettel, FPT and VNPT. The cheapest list prices run from VND 190,000 to VND 195,000: VNPT Home 1 at VND 190,000, FPT GIGA and SKY at VND 195,000, and Viettel NETVT01_T at VND 195,000.
The difference lies in the details: what a foreigner must show, how long you prepay and what the modem comes with. FPT is the only one that states a foreigner’s documents on its current page.

Which plan fits which flat
A studio with one or two people fits the entry plans: FPT GIGA supports about 10-15 devices, and Viettel’s NETVT01_T is rated for about 10-15 devices. A flat with a family and several screens needs the next tier: FPT SKY supports about 15-25 devices.
A two-floor flat or a long apartment is where mesh helps. FPT’s F plans add Wi-Fi mesh units, and Viettel’s MESHVT1_T comes with one Wi-Fi 6 modem and one mesh unit. VNPT’s Home 1 (Mesh) adds one free Wi-Fi mesh unit.
Anyone who wants Wi-Fi 7 has two options: Viettel GIGA1 where XGSPON infrastructure is ready, or FPT SpeedX1.
FPT lists Internet GIGA at VND 195,000 a month with Wi-Fi 6, 300 Mbps each way and about 10-15 devices. Internet SKY is also VND 195,000, with 1 Gbps down, 300 Mbps up and about 15-25 devices.
The F plans add Wi-Fi mesh units: Giga F1 is VND 205,000, Sky F1 VND 210,000, Sky F2 VND 230,000, Meta VND 295,000 and Meta F1 VND 315,000. Combo Giga V.VIP, with FPT Play TV, is VND 220,000 and Combo Sky V.VIP is VND 239,000. SpeedX1 on Wi-Fi 7 is VND 350,000.
FPT says real prices can differ by area and policy at the time. Prepaying 3 months or more earns a camera with 12 months of free cloud storage, and choosing postpaid earns a VND 50,000 voucher.

Viettel’s NETVT01_T gives 300 Mbps for VND 195,000 a month in its 32-province zone, billed every 1, 6 or 13 months. NETVT2_T, 500 Mbps to 1 Gbps, is VND 240,000.
Mesh plans start at VND 210,000 for MESHVT1_T, with VND 245,000 for MESHVT2_T and VND 299,000 for MESHVT3_T. GIGA1, 1 Gbps on a Wi-Fi 7 modem, is VND 279,000 where XGSPON infrastructure is ready.
Inner Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City pay more for the same speed: NETVT01_H is VND 235,000. The NETVT01_T page shows a VND 300,000 connection fee, applicable from 2 March 2026. New installs get a Wi-Fi 6 modem. Register through the free call centre 18008168 or at a Viettel shop.

VNPT Home 1 offers 300 Mbps. It costs VND 190,000 a month in the row for outer Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City plus 32 provinces and cities. Six months in that row are VND 1,140,000, and 12 months are VND 2,280,000. The inner Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City row is VND 235,000.
Home 2, about 1 Gbps, is VND 235,000 in the same outer row. Mesh versions run from VND 215,000 for Home 1 (Mesh) to VND 245,000 for Home 2 (2 Mesh).
A new individual or household connection costs VND 300,000, and the dual-band ONT is free for as long as you use the service. Paying 12 months upfront earns one extra free month. The online price leaves out any home collection fee. VNPT’s province list includes Khanh Hoa.

What a foreigner needs to sign up

FPT states it plainly: a passport and a valid temporary or permanent residence paper. A tenant may also need the tenancy contract or the landlord’s confirmation, depending on the area.
VNPT’s national advice page, dated 8 March 2023, asks individuals for a valid ID, citizen card or passport. It adds a paper showing the installation address, such as a residence paper, and a contact phone number. Treat that date as old.
A VNPT Dien Bien page posted in 2017 asked foreigners for a passport valid at least 6 months and a visa valid at least 2 months at signing. It also asked for a guarantee letter or a home ownership certificate, and recommended a prepaid service otherwise. That is one province’s old rule, not Nha Trang’s.
Pick a plan and check the price for your address: FPT says to use its consult button, and the three providers all say price varies by area.
Give your details and the address. FPT takes registration online, by phone on 1900 6600 (24/7) or at an office.
Sign the contract. FPT allows e-Contract online or on paper at the address.
Pay the initial fee: FPT says 1, 3, 6 or 13 months, depending on the plan.
A technician installs. FPT says within 24-72 hours depending on locality, and its FAQ gives 24-48 hours, with some areas on the same day.
Moving flat later is simpler: FPT keeps the plan at a new address that has infrastructure, in 1-2 working days.
Fees and billing
Connection fees are VND 300,000 at Viettel and VND 300,000 at VNPT. FPT says its setup fee is the monthly fee plus an installation fee, both varying by plan and area, and gives no figure.
Viettel bills every 1, 6 or 13 months. FPT’s initial payment covers 1, 3, 6 or 13 months. VNPT gives a free month for paying 12 months. A March 2023 VNPT page said first-time customers had to choose 6 or 12 months before monthly billing; the current Home 1 table lists one-month pricing.
FPT accepts the Hi FPT app, internet banking, MoMo and ZaloPay, bank transfer or its counters. Nobody here publishes a minimum contract length: ask before signing.

FPT’s registration line, 1900 6600, runs 24/7. VNPT’s number for internet and fixed-line services is 18001166. Its branch 1 takes fault reports and repair requests 24/7. No Viettel fault line was confirmed for this guide, so keep the number from your contract.
